Bethany Murphy, founder Hooray for Hollywood Acting Academy, has been immersed in the world of acting since childhood. Over the years, she has spent countless, exciting hours on commercial, television, and movie sets—both in front of the camera as an actor, and behind the scenes as a set mom to her own young performers.
Her passion for the craft is matched by her love of teaching! As a child & teen, Bethany trained in Hollywood, at Pamela Campus Studios and then under Christina Ferra-Gilmore. She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Education at California State University, Fullerton—renowned for its prestigious theatre and acting program.
Before launching her own studio in 2018, Bethany was an acting coach at Hollywood Actor’s Academy and Performing Studio (HAAPS), where she taught children, teens, and adults. She quickly rose to become head coach, thriving in an environment where her energy, positivity, and expertise inspired students every day.
Today, Bethany is thrilled to bring that same contagious enthusiasm to her own acting school. Brimming with positivity and excitement, her enthusiasm and love of acting is contagious! She creates a space filled with encouragement, creativity, and a genuine love for the students and the art of performance.
